BAGO DIVISION – The Karen National Union (KNU) central reported that the terrorist junta council abducted two civilians for no reason and one civilian was killed and two were injured by junta mines and artillery attacks in Muu Township.
On August 27, the terrorist junta forces from light infantry battalion 351 stationed in Lelpat Village, Muu Township abducted two cowherds, 45 year old Saw Kaw La Tu from Payesi Village and 52 year old Than Tun Lin from Yelal Village and also seized two cattle.
On August 29 around 10 p.m., a 120mm artillery shell fired by junta light infantry battalion 439 landed in Paukzalote Village and killed 64 year old Myint Ngwe.
On the same day around 1:30 p.m., 18 year old Pyae Phyo Htet from Kyunkone Nyaungchayhtauk Village was injured in both ankles after stepping on a mine planted by junta forces.
Then on September 1, Phyu based junta light infantry battalion 306 stationed in Leikpaw Village is reported to have forcibly seized rice, fertilizer and other accessories belonging to civilians.
In addition, at around 6 p.m. on that day, there was a battle between KNLA and junta forces and 40 year old Maung Myo Htwe from Ywagyiinn Village was reportedly injured.
KNU said that the residents from the villages of Ywagyiinn, Nokalaw and Taungsu are fleeing to safety due to the battle.
