SHAN STATE – It is reported that the Hsin Kyawt Local Militia Force, which was forced to transform due to the pressure of the Terrorist War Council, has re-joined the SSPP/SSA.
On the morning of September 5th, the Shan State Progress Party/ Shan State Army, SSPP/SSA welcomed and held a ceremony at Wan Hai headquarters for the Hsin Kyawt local militias which returned to serve with the original forces.
At the ceremony, SSPP/SSA Patron (1) General Sai Tin gave the opening speech, and the President of the Hsin Kyawt Militia, General Sey Mao spoke about why SSA Brigade (3) was changed to the Hsin Kyawt Militia due to various circumstances in 2010. From the current time, he said that it has been recognized as an army of the Shan State Progress Party the Shan State Army from the local militia of Hsin Kyawt.
It is reported that SSPP/SSA awarded more than 40 million Kyats to Hsin Kyawt local militiamen who returned to serve in the original force.
In 2010, the Hsin Kyawt Local Militia Force was a revolutionary force that was inevitably transformed into the Hsin Kyawt Local Militia under the military control of the Shan State Army SSA due to the pressure of the terrorist war council, SSPP/SSA announced.
