SHAN STATE – The terrorist junta army shelling the villages in Sibaw Township killed two civilians and injured one, reported the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA).
Around 9:30 p.m. on September 4, the terrorist junta forces stationed at Nantlang fired heavy artillery shells at the civilian zones and the shells landed on a house in Kyaungpyain Village, killing 73 year old Mr. Lone Sate who was inside on the spot while his wife, 72 year old Ms. Nan Ywat Lu, was heavily injured after getting hit by shrapnel in both legs and torso.
Similarly on September 2 around 9 a.m., heavy weapons fired by junta forces landed in Namakhaw Village killing one man and injuring another and in Kyaungpyain Village, Mr. Kyaw Myint was injured.
Meanwhile in Sibaw, due to the terrorist junta forces targeting the civilian zones with air and artillery attacks, 24 civilians were killed and at least 63 were injured between August 1 and September 5, according to TNLA.
