KAREN STATE-An official from KNLA Brigade (2) Battalion (5); Thawthikho Force, said that the terrorist junta army and the revolutionary forces clashed four times on the Taungoo-Than Taung road between Bago and Karen states. Three junta soldiers were reportedly killed.
On September 3, between the 5th and 6th-mile posts on the Taungoo-Than Taung Road, the terrorist army and Brigade (2) commando column faced off three times, and the terrorist army reportedly suffered many casualties.
Similarly, at around 2:30 p.m. on the same day, there was another clash between the terrorist army and the 3rd division of the 2nd Brigade, 5th Battalion, and the guerrilla joint forces, somewhere near the Tawpyargyi Camp on Than Taung Gyi Road.
An official from Thawthikho Force, KNLA Brigade (2) Battalion (5), said that 3 Junta soldiers were killed and 4 were injured during the battle.
