The terrorist junta chief Min Aung Hlaing has personally taken command of the strategy and policy of the operation while deputy chief Soe Win is in charge of implementing the operation, with army generals and regional commanders taking on respective roles divided by region. The regional military forces and the army, navy and air force of the military office have also formed collaborative teams to carry out combat duty throughout the clock and the operation is said to have been launched in early September.
“The military operations will be carried out 24/7. The army, navy and air force joint operations will also be carried out full time at any time. Mainly, there will be constant joint operations by the army and the air force targeting assumed headquarters and bases of the opposing forces. The navy will join in when required. What I want to warn is that there will be more attacks than before,” said the Nay Pyi Taw source.
