SAGAING DIVISION: Ye-U based People’s Defense Comrade Spokesman Htoo Khant Zaw (Mother’s Son) said that three villages in Khin-U township, Sagaing division had been continuously burned down by atrocious military junta’s forces and thousands of civilians have been fleeing for lives.
Since in the early morning of September (10), about (170) atrocious junta’s soldiers who are stationing in MadaungHla PyuSawHtee (Militia) village have been reportedly raiding and burning down the villages of Siputtayar, Gyapo and Paukthinttone.
The soldiers from that atrocious junta’s military column were stealing the civilians’ properties from those villages and burning down the houses of the civilians. Currently, thousands of civilians from Paykone village, Thayetkan village, Ngapyaw village, Paukthinttone village, Gyapo village and Baoh village are known to be fleeing for their lives.
Ye-U based People’s Defense Comrade Spokesman Htoo Khant Zaw (Mother’s Son) said, “On the morning of September (10) the military column with about (170) soldiers leaving from Madaunghla Pyu Militants Village had been seen heading to the villages in the west. The soldiers were known to be burning down the villages of Siputtayar, Gyapo and Paukthinttone. The numbers of civilians who have been captured by junta forces could not be confirmed yet. Currently Gyapo village is being burnt down. Those three villages closely situated . As the junta’s column is burning down the villages, civilians from the others nearby are also fleeing for safety. Without any battles in the area, the junta’s forces are torching down the houses of the civilians.”
