SHAN STATE – The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) announced that the junta council bombed Nanbai Village bordering Lashio Township in northern Shan State, killing five civilians and injuring eight.
Around 7 p.m. on September 13, the junta air force bombed the civilian houses in Nanbai Village, part of Thanlwin Lyinho Township, Hsenwi District. Five civilians were killed and eight were injured, three of whom were heavily wounded.
Also during the afternoon on the same day from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., the junta air force repeatedly bombed Nawnghkio Township and the bombs landed in Nawnghkio Police Station and civilian wards, damaging several buildings, announced the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) who added that a total of 13 bombs were dropped.
Similarly in Karen State, local people reported that junta jets bombed Laykaykaw Town and Hteemaewahkhi Village in Myawaddy Township around 7:30 p.m. on September 13 but the damages are not yet accounted for.
