MON STATE: It was known from the information spread by the junta’s lobbyists and the local people that a daughter and a father who are the members of USDP had been shot dead in Kyaikto township, Mon State.
Myint Aung, a secretary of quarter and a member of the Union Solidarity and Development Party- USDP and his daughter Win Nu Khaing (aka) Ma Kay, a youth member of USDP quarter level who live in Mokekhamu village, Kyaikto township, Mon State were known to have been shot dead at 8:30 p.m. on September 23. The shooters were known to come by motorcycle to shoot them.
“The deceased daughter and father had been the members of USDP since long before and they swayed to USDP. They used to speak indiscreetly. They were known to be speaking that the junta’s army would be winning and to act as informers. In the unrest time, they used to announce that they only trusted in USDP in their community” as said by the local civilian who is familiar with them.
After they had been killed, the junta’s forces came to check. After that the bodies were transferred to the administrative officer to bury them well. Though the junta’s forces came to do the inspection, they still fail to arrest the shooters.
