YANGON DIVISION – Local residents reported that Min Min Tun, the junta council appointed hundreds household chief of Aung San Ward in Insein Township, was shot and killed.
The mentioned junta lackey Min Min Tun was shot dead near Aung San market at about 7:15 p.m. on September 26 and died at the spot. The junta soldiers came and investigated but the shooters escaped. The hundred household chief Min Min Tun was the main person who had been helping junta council in taking census. He distributed forms in the neighborhood to take the census on October 1. In addition to collecting lists, he had also been enlisting young people to join junta army under conscription law.
“On the other day, he was handing out forms for the census to be taken on October 1. He was asking people to fill it out and send it to the office in Aung San Ward. He was also the one who forcing the youths to join army. He had been working as armed militia Pyu Saw Htee,” a local resident explained.
Similarly, on September 26, at around 8:00 p.m. explosion occurred at Electric Power Corporation (EPC) of Insein Township, and some shootings were heard, locals reported.
“The sound of 2 explosions was quite loud. And I also heard the sound of gunshots,” the local people said.
Freeland Attack Force-FLA, a revolutionary group in Yangon said that they used 2 grenades to blow up the sandbag bunker of EPC office where the terrorist junta council soldiers were stationing at around 7:20 p.m. on September 26.
The impact of the grenade was small, and the details of the damage were not yet known, but the revolutionary comrades were able to withdraw safely from the targeted township. Freeland Attack Force- FLA has announced that they would be in Yangon City secretly together with the people and will be resisting with all its might to prevent the terrorist military council from ruling Yangon City.
