SAGAING DIVISION – Local residents reported that two PDF soldiers from a Shwebo District battalion who mistakenly entered Magyeetone Village, a base of junta subordinate Pyu Saw Htee militants, around 2 p.m. on September 29 were murdered.
“It was in their (Pyu Saw Htee) territory. I don’t know how they made that mistake,” said a member of a local resistance force.
Magyeetone Village is located to the east of Khin U Town, right next to the government staff housings and is a base of Pyu Saw Htee militants.
It is only known that the two murdered PDF soldiers belonged to a Shwebo District battalion but the battalion has yet to make any comments.
Meanwhile, the junta council announced that two bodies of PDF soldiers, an AK rifle, two cartridges, 45 bullets, a motorcycle and a PDF badge were confiscated.
Two uniformed and armed PDF soldiers were similarly murdered by junta forces back in August 25 after they crossed a junta checkpoint on the Shwebo-Mandalay Road.
