MANDALAY DIVISION – The teachers and students of Spring University reportedly visited the flood-affected villages in Mandalay Division and provided support.
Ms. Arty, a student at Spring University said, “We want to participate in helping the flood victims. Since we also have a fund set aside for the war displaced and other places in need, and that money has been used for the flood disaster fund.”
Two villages in Mandalay Division that were affected by the flood were visited and provided support on September 27 and 29 for two times.
The village with more than 300 households were provided with five eggs per house on September 27.
For the second round on September 29, other donors also joined together and more than 700 households received rice, bottled water, detergent powder, soap, solar lights, some clothing, medicines, candles, matches, and kitchen utensils.
Some donors reportedly donated money in envelopes to the elderly as well.
At present, two affected villages are given support, and If there are more people contributing money, the team will extend the donatation to support more and more flood victims.
