MYANMAR – The United States Department of State announced that the Special Envoy for International Criminal Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United States Bath Van Schack, will visit Thailand to discuss Myanmar issues.
Special Envoy Bath Van Schack will visit Thailand from October 4th to 7th. The US Department of State announced on October 2nd that she will meet with social societies, groups of scholars and the Thai governmental organizations.
She will discuss justice and accountability for those who have suffered by the violence of the Burmese terrorist army.
The statement also said that the United States is trying to bring justice to those who survived the brutality of the Burmese terrorist army.
In addition, the US Department of State’s statement also stated that it will continue to request the creation of conditions that will help the returning of Rohingers with safety and dignity into Myanmar.
