MAGWAY DIVISION – A junta council’s armed militia, Pyu Saw Htee, from Zeepyar Village of Pauk Township brought along weapons, and ammunition and reportedly came into legal fold.
The Pyu Saw Htee member Ye Myat Soe contacted the Myaing-Pauk People’s Defence Organization (PDO) and came into the legal fold at around 6 a.m. on October 4. He took along a M4 carbine-type gun, 2 boxes of magazines, 63 bullets, 4 carbine bullets, 2 grenades,
60 mm motor, and a handphone, which belonged to the junta soldier on guard duty with him.
Myaing PDO and Pauk PDO announced that the junta army’s soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee in Pauk Township will be killed once they leave outside the village, they will be deadly attacked, but if they contact PDO and come into the legal fold with weapons, they will be well taken care of.
Since the beginning of 2024, the revolution forces have strictly surrounded and cut off the fascist junta’s militia, Pyu Saw Htee Zeepyar and Tayawkaing villages, continuously attacked to drive out the junta council’s military columns coming into Pauk Township.
As a result of the blockade, there has been an increase in the number of surrenders from Zeepyar and Tayawkaing (Pyu) villages, and those who entered into the legal fold have been sent to controlled areas under tight security and are being taken care of well, Myaing PDO said.
As the revolution has been accelerating, it has been alerted that the junta lackeys Pyu Saw Htee, the junta soldiers, and police under the military council should join the legal fold instead of losing their lives under the control of the terrorist army.
