BAGO DIVISION – Local residents of Minhla Town reported that a trishaw rider Mr. Than Aung (60) was abducted and beaten to death by the terrorist army for no reason.
On September 29, at about 3 p.m., the terrorist soldiers stationing at general administration office of Minhla Township captured and beat the 60-year-old rickshaw driver who lives on Bo Yon Tan street of Minhla Town.
After being captured and beaten by the terrorist military council soldiers, the family members were asked to take the body of Mr. Than Aung at Minhla Hospital on the next day, September 30, and pressured the family members to sign that he had died of hypertension.
“The junta thugs told the family that he died of hypertension and pressured the family members to sign and then returned the body,” said a local resident.
