MYANMAR- The Ambassador (Mr.) Kyaw Moe Tun stated at the 79th United Nations General Assembly meeting, held on October 2, that he strongly opposes the election planning by the junta council.
“Any election running by the junta coup will not possibly be a fair and inclusive one. A fake military election is not a solution but will only prolong the conflict and increase the number of attacks.
The (will and) standing of the Burmese people is strong; we all are against the fake election prepared by the junta regime,” Ambassador (Mr.) Kyaw Moe Tun expressed his standing.
The Ambassador, Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, also said that the entire population of Myanmar, especially women, girls, children, disabled people, and youths are most affected by the brutality of the military regime and the military troops.
Loud callings are made to help people from the brutality of the terrorist army who should (instead) be protecting and focusing the society.
The Ambassador said that the main reason for the crisis and suffering of the Myanmar people is due to military dictatorship and its illegal military coup attempt.
He also added that the only answer to what is happening now (in Myanmar) is to take firm and speedy actions by international communities against the Terrorist Junta Council.
