RAKHINE STATE – The terrorist junta’s airstrikes on Toungup Township, on October 4, killed two among injuries, and a total of seven people have died.
The terrorist junta carried out aerial bombings on Kin Htaung Village of Toungup Township, at around 2:00 a.m., and 3:00 p.m., on October 4.
Four civilians, including a child, were killed and more than five injured in the morning attacks. A woman was killed, and four others were injured in the evening attacks.
Residents said that two more people, including an elderly woman, died while treating the injured.
As a result, seven civilians were killed during the junta’s airstrike attacks on Kin Htaung Village.
“It’s 500-pound bomb. It fell near the houses. There are only civilians in Kin Htaung Village. But the junta army bombarded there,” said a local of Toungup Town.
In addition, at least 10 residential houses were damaged by the attacks, and residents were worried about the threat of junta’s airstrikes.
Currently, the Arakan Army (AA) had carried out Maungdaw Town capturing battle and conducted offensive attacks on Western Command in Ann Township, since September 26.
In addition, there were reports of fighting between the AA and the junta army in Gwa Township, which borders Ayeyarwady Division.
