RAKHINE STATE – It was reported that the atrocious junta army carried out aerial bombings on Tan Hlwe Ywar Ma Town of Toungup Township, killing 13 civilians and injuring many others.
On October 7, at around 11:00 p.m., the junta’s fighter jets bombarded on Tan Hlwe Ywar Ma (Ywar Thit) Village in Tan Hlwe area, killing 13 civilians, including two children.
“The junta bombed two bombs on Tan Hlwe Ywar Ma (Ywar Thit) Village, at around 11:00 p.m. They bombarded on Chaung Nar Village. The residential houses were devastated. Around 20 houses were devastated. There were many dead and injured,” said the village of Tan Hlwe Ywar Ma.
Among those who died, 13 men and women, including two children were killed. The residents said that the terrorist junta army bombed the village without any fight in the area.
On September 24, the junta army bombed Tan Hlwe Ywar Ma Town in Toungup Township for the first time, killing two men in their 30s and injuring at least 3, including a 6-year-old child and his mother.
The genocidal junta had launched airstrike attacks daily on Thandwe, Taungup and Gwa townships on the southern part of Rakhine State and carried out targeted attacks on civilians’ areas.
