MAGWAY DIVISION- A police sergeant from Myaing Police Station brought two weapons and defected, an official from Myaing PDF told the media.
On October 7, at around 2:00 p.m., 33-year-old Police Sergeant Kyaw Lin reportedly contacted Myaing – PDF and defected with a G4 gun, three magazines, 248 bullets, a revolver with 15 bullets, and two hand grenades.
PDFs, considering the lives of the people in Myaing City have not yet been attacked and occupied the junta stations, but have only been surrounding and cutting off their supply chains. If the city is captured, the Junta Council would have launched an aerial attack and destroy the lives of the people living in the city. PDFs concerning the livelihood of the locals have only been surrounding the city.
Therefore, members of the Military Council from various camps in Myaing City should not sacrifice their lives but leave the terrorist army that is carrying out airstrikes on the public, and join the people’s arms as soon as possible.
Myaing PDFs have reportedly been awarding money to those who defected to them and will be brought to safety/ the families if they wish.
