SAGAING DIVISION- Budalin Mobile Team-BMT (Budalin PDF Mobile Column) reported that the junta army launching offensives in Butalin town burned down the Kyauk Oh village and took 20 people as human shields.
On the morning of October 9, the terrorist military soldiers who were patrolling in Butalin Township raided Kyauk Oh Village (North) and at around 1:50 p.m. they started setting fire to the houses in the village. Five houses were reportedly burnt to ashes.
The Junta column also reportedly arrested about 20 locals along their march as human shields. At present, the terrorist junta troops are stationed in Theepin Ai village and many locals are still being held as hostages.
“About 20 people found along the road they marched were arrested. Five homes in Kyauk Oh Village (North) were also burned down. They are going to get more of the people’s hatred. Those junta troops are arresting, killing, stealing and looting everything they see. Those who supported the junta are also being victimized and no longer supporting them (the war dogs),” said an official from Budalin Mobile Team-BMT.
