YANGON- The committee of Yangon protest group said that youth activist Mr.Shein Wai Aung and his four family members were cut off contact after the military junta checked the guest list in Yangon.
It has been reported that on October 9 night, when Mr.Shein Wai Aung was on phone with his friend, junta group came to check guest list at his place and lost contact after that.
The father, mother and sister of Mr.Shein Wai Aung were also lost of contact and they assumed that all were abducted. Mr.Shein Wai Aung was former student of Dagon University and also youth activist who participated in non-violence youth activities.
A youth from the committee of Yangon protest group said, “I lost contact with Shein Wai Aung on that night and it is possible that the family members were also abducted. I am so worried about their safety”.
