MYANMAR – MNDAA issued internal rules within the organisation, stating that it is to prevent MNDAA from being exploited and to avoid unnecessary conflicts as there could be huge changes in Myanmar due to foreign influences.
Members of the MNDAA as well as their family members are now restricted from travelling to ASEAN nations, America and the west without permission.
They are also banned from attending international conferences on Myanmar and accepting interviews from foreign media, including the reporters from the U.S. and the west.
MNDAA also banned its members from remarking or expressing their opinions on the situation in Myanmar without permission, explaining that there is a need to defend from unnecessary disagreements and conflicts due to the complicated affairs in the country.
China has been constantly putting pressure on the members of the Three Brotherhood Alliance to cease their offensives and MNDAA has been issuing multiple statements to comply with their demands.
During the 1027 Operation in northern Shan State, MNDAA, along with allied organisations including the PDF, captured a large number of military bases and towns controlled by the junta council, including the latter’s North East Command and its base, Lashio City.
