BAGO DIVISION – Residents reported that the junta council bombed Shwekazaung Village and a funeral ceremony at Thaphanzin Village in Yedashe Township and three civilians including a mother and child were killed and nine were injured.
The terrorist junta soldiers stationed at Yayhtee Bridge used drones to carry out at least three bombing attacks using drones in Thaphanzin Village located around four miles east of Swar during a funeral ceremony on October 13 morning and three residents of the village: Mr. Chit Oo and Ms. Thae and her child, were killed and eight more people were injured.
In addition, the same junta forces also used drones to bomb Shwekazaung Village and Ms. Mar Khaing was seriously injured and sent to the hospital.
“There was a funeral ceremony at Thaphanzin Village. While people were gathered there, the bombing happened. There was no battle. Mr. Chit Oo died on the spot. Among the injured, the injuries of Ms. Thae and her child were serious and they also passed away. There were a total of three deaths and eight were seriously injured. The junta forces additionally bombed Shwekazaung Village and a Ms. Mar Khaing from the village was heavily injured and sent to the hospital. The bombing was done from Yayhtee Bridge. We heard that they were setting up drones there in the morning. There are also junta dogs (junta forces) stationed at the monastery in Khindan Village,” explained a resident.
Thaphanzin Village has around 125 households and has been torched by terrorist junta forces twice previously.
