MAGWAY DIVISION – A local revolution source reported that the junta council bombed Larpot Village in Gangaw Township on October 14 afternoon and two civilians were injured.
Around 3:15 p.m. on October 14, the junta planes bombed the village although there was no battle and rescue works are currently ongoing to rescue and treat the injured civilians, according to the revolution source.
“Larpot Village in Gangaw was bombed. There was no battle. They just came and bombed. People were injured. We are sending the injured to the clinic,” said the local revolution source.
Similarly, four villages in northern Gangaw Township were also bombed for no reason, reported Mr. Ba Kaung from Yaw A Lin Dan.
At 3:03 p.m. on October 14, a junta jet that took off from Shante Air Base in Meikhtila entered Gangaw Township via southern Kalay Township then bombed and attacked Myinzar Village, Kyunkhontha Village, Kan Village, Bawpyin Bridge and Larpot Village in northern Gangaw Township.
“There were airstrikes in five places in northern Gangaw. There were no battles. One bomb was dropped in Kyunkhontha (Village), two in Kan Village, two on Bawpyin Bridge and two in Larpot Village. We heard that there were casualties but cannot confirm the details yet,” said Mr. Ba Kaung.
The terrorist junta council has increased aerial attacks targeting the territories they lost in Myanmar including Gangaw Township under Yan Naing Min Operation starting September 1.
