MYANMAR – The Strike Forces urged the civilians to join the oil lamps strike during the revolutionary Thadingyut as a public revolutionary movement.
The civilians are informed to spend the Thadingyut period as a public revolutionary movement by lighting the Thadingyut oil lamps to oppose the military dictator.
It was said that Thadingyut oil lamps lit in the compounds and on the floor of the pagodas are meant as offerings to Dahmma, Buddha teachings and philosophy, to honour those people who stand for justice and to burn those who are working for injustice.
The civilians are urged to join the revolutionary Thadingyut, lighting the revolutionary oil lamps to honour the truth and justice while to burn down the injustice, depicting the bright future of the country and its people, reciting the slogans and prayers to burn down those who oppressed the civilians, along with the lit oil lamps.
