BAGO DIVISION – Karen National Union (KNU) announced on October 21 that a civilian was injured, and a school and two houses were damaged by the Drone and artillery strikes of the junta council in Laldo and Sawhti Townships of Nyaunglebin (Khlellwihtu) District, KNU Kawthoolei Administration Region.
At 1:25 p.m. on October 16 in Laldo Township, the terrorist junta council forces in Kyauktagar bombed Phyantalin Village using drones, damaging a house and a motorcycle. It was followed by another bombing at 9:18 p.m. that resulted in damaging the school at Thamininnkone Village.
In Sawhti Township, at 10:10 a.m. on October 15, the terrorist junta council’s infantry battalion 57 fired two 81mm artillery shells that landed and exploded near Thanseikywama, injuring a 16 year old civilian.
In addition, two 120mm shells fired by junta infantry 264 at 1:12 p.m. also landed in Thanseikywama and damaged a house in the village.
