SAGAING DIVISION – An official from Taungpanni Special Guerrilla Force said that they attacked the terrorist junta forces stationed at Kinmontaw Village, a base of Pyu Saw Htee militants, in Chaung U Township.
Around 3 p.m. on October 17, the defence forces bombarded the terrorist junta and Pyu Saw Htee forces with 60mm and 80mm mortars as well as small firearms.
The junta forces, hit hard, fired back with 60mm shells and machine guns but the revolutionary forces were able to fall back unharmed.
The attack was carried out in collaboration by Taungpanni Special Guerrilla Force, Battalion 35, Company 3 of Yinmabin District, Company 1 and allied regional People’s Defence Teams.
