MYANMAR – A social aid group based in Lashio, Northern Shan State said that the planes of the Terrorist Junta Council bombed the Mae Han area occupied by the MNDAA this morning.
On October 23rd, at 8:35 in the morning, the junta council’s planes dropped bombs near Mae Han bus station in Lashio. The condition of the damage is not yet known, and they say that they are currently being evacuated due to reports that more planes were coming.
“What we know now is that a bomb was dropped in the area of Mae Han. We are not sure yet. They are also saying that more planes are coming. We will know the situation when things calm down,” explained a social aid group in Lashio.
Similarly, a woman was killed when the junta council army bombed Aima village in Tilin township, Yaw region, Magway division, on October 22nd, around 1:00 p.m., with an airplane.
“There is no fighting. We are being shot deliberately. We have been under continuous airstrikes these days in the Yaw region. The people are also scared,” said a resident.
The junta council’s air strike was carried out at the intersection of Aima and Chaung Pauk villages. Daw Malar Htwe, about 50 years old, from Aima village, was killed by a bomb. 6 people were also injured. At least 10 houses and buildings were damaged.
The Junta Council Army has been carrying out continuous airstrikes against the Yaw area this month, and there were about 8 airstrikes in Tilin township, Ganggo township, and Kyauktu area, and 10 people were killed. More than 30 people were injured.
