TANINTHARYI DIVISION: In Launglon Township, Dawei District, Tanintharyi Division, Dawei District Democracy Movement Strike Committee (DDMSC) was known to be leading a revolutionary strike movement against the military dictatorship on October 24.
The strike movement was reportedly organised with the theme “Oppose Against the Census Collected by the Junta’s Council, Boycott the Sham Election”, where women, youths and the local civilians cooperated, reciting the slogans against the military dictatorship and marching around.
