SAGAING DIVISION – Mr. Moe Tauk, the strike leader of Monywa Inventor Team reported that there were junta casualties after the junta column in Saipyinlay Village, Butalin Township was attacked with mortar shells.
Around 12:30 p.m. on October 23, the junta column of arsonists and murderers was reportedly attacked with ten 40mm shells and ten 60mm shells while they were in Saipyinlay Village.
“We heard that the damage was pretty huge but we don’t know the exact number. Our team is based in Salingyi. We went to Butalin to carry out the attack as we were angry about them murdering the people. After attacking them, we fell back. There was no battle. The junta dogs (junta forces) fired back with heavy weapons. The junta Northwest Command in Monywa also fired Howitzer cannons,” said Mr. Moe Tauk from Monywa Inventor Team.
The attack was carried out by Monywa Inventor Team, Chindwin Dynamite Team and BLDF and the defence forces are said to be unharmed.
