KACHIN STATE – Kachin Independence Organisation (KIO) Chair General N’Ban La said that the military dictatorship shall absolutely fall and that KIO will continue to work together with revolutionary forces.
He mentioned this in this speech for the 64th anniversary of the founding of the KIO and the full speech in Kachin language is published on The Kachin Net, the official KIO publication.
The KIO Chair said that the current revolution against the military dictatorship involves and has the support of all the people of Myanmar which is why that military dictatorship is certain to fall, that it is a good time for the Spring Revolution forces and ethnic armed organisations to work together to eradicate military dictatorship and that KIO will continue to work together with revolutionary forces.
In addition, he also warned the Pyithusit militia forces to quit being subordinate to the junta council and to join the KIO instead.
General N’Ban La also informed that KIO has formed the eradication operation committee and is working to restore the seized territories and implement rule of law and administration processes.
He also urged the frontline officers deployed by KIO and the members of the KIO to avoid actions that would damage the image of KIO.
