BAGO DIVISION – An official of Thegon Township People’s Defence Organisation (PDO) reported that a Pyu Saw Htee militant sniffing out information of revolutionary forces in Thegon Township was killed in an attack.
Around 11:40 p.m. on October 24, Pyu Saw Htee thug Zaw Min from Nwekaut Village in Thegon Township was attacked by members of Thegon Township PDO near the bridge in the eastern part of Nwekaut Village.
It is said that Zaw Min received Pyu Saw Htee training at junta infantry division 66 in Innma and had regularly sent the information of local civilians and people related to the revolution to the junta soldiers and police.
“Zaw Min was also an active participant in forcibly conscripting people for the junta regime. So we didn’t have a choice but to attack him. We spared the person companying him,” said the official from Thegon Township PDO.
Thegon Township PDO also warned that they are constantly watching the junta soldiers, police, Pyu Saw Htee militants and administration staff that cause trouble for the people and advised the administration staff and Pyu Saw Htee militants to absolutely refrain from forcibly conscripting or extorting the people.
