MAGWAY DIVISION – In Pauk Township, the terrorist army brutally killed a monk and 4 people who were taken as hostages by the terrorist army, an official from Pauk township People Defense Body said.
On October 28th, at around 5:00 a.m., a joint column consisting of De Dok Kwin militiamen and terrorist junta council soldiers raided the houses of the De Dok Kwin war evacuees in the north of Yankin Village, Pauk District.
After the raid, the terrorist junta council soldiers burned down 7 homes and a clinic, a monk was abducted by changing saffron robe into civilian clothes and taken along with 17 people fleeing the war. In addition, it is understood that the soldiers of the terrorist junta council forcibly looted public goods and were taken in public cars.
The terrorist junta council troops arrested and killed war evacuee U Htay Aung, and U Than Sein, the war evacuee, was also locked in his house and burned to death. According to reports, 4 people were injured and 1 was in critical condition due to the shooting of the terrorist army.
The people arrested by the terrorist army are U Moe, Daw Thida Htwe, U Moe Nyo, Ko Moe Dee, Ko Nga Chan, Ko Hpoe Chaw, U Hla Nyo, Ko Nga Oo, Ma Zin Mar Oo, U Than Myaing, U Soe Win, U Maung Aye, U Tin Maung Swe, Ko Ye Lin Naing and 3 unknown people.
The above mentioned terrorist soldiers killed a monk, Daw Thida Htwe and Ko Nga Chan were brutally killed when they headed to the south of De Dok Kwin village on October 31st, at around 10 a.m., by putting the hostages in front.
It is reported that during the clearing operations of the Pauk township People Defense Body, one monk was killed in civilian clothes, and Daw Thita Htwe and Ko Nga Chan were found dead without clothes on their body.
It is reported that the people who were arrested were tortured by forced to stand in the sun all day from morning to evening in the village of Pyu Saw Hti village of De Dok Kwin.
“We are systematically documenting the perpetrators of arresting and killing innocent people, treating them as enemies and not giving them human rights. We are only there to avenge the perpetrators,” said the public information officer of the Pauk township People’s Defense Body.
