KACHIN STATE – According to KIA (Kachin Independence Army) news sources, KIA alliance forces managed to capture a junta council military camp where the strength of 400 troops (the combination of the junta council troops and Shanni Nationalities Army) and the junta council’s Pangchei military camp in Sezin region, Hpakant township.
At around 5 p.m. on November 2, the revolutionary alliance forces managed to capture a junta council military camp on Eight Faced pagoda hill where the strength of 400 troops were stationed, in Sezin region (on the side of Sagaing division), Hpakant township, Kachin state. They (the revolutionary alliance forces) also captured the Pangchei military camp, at around 7 a.m. on November 3.
A KIA news source mentioned that “it was confirmed that the revolutionary alliance forces have captured Sezin military camp and Pangchei military camp. The number of The junta council casualties is not yet known.”
At the moment, the KIA alliance forces are continuing attacks as two more junta council camps are left to capture in the Sezin region.
The KIA news source also mentioned that KIA and its alliance forces are currently conducting offensive attacks towards the junta council’s military camps in Indaw and Momauk regions.
