TANINTHARYI DIVISION – A local man of Taku Village Tract was reportedly injured in an aerial bombardment by the fascist council.
Local residents and revolutionary forces on the ground said that Banpyae and Koeinn villages were bombarded by the terrorist army using a K8W jet fighter at about 11:30 in the morning on November 4.
Two 250 lb bombs were dropped onto Banpyae Village and then Koeinn Village was attacked again with four bombs, according to the revolutionary forces on the ground.
The aerial bombardment has destroyed two house at Koeinn Village, and a resident was injured, locals said.
“The houses were completely crushed into pieces. A local guy was also hit by shrapnel,” a local man of Koeinn Village explained.
Mr. Wunna Kyaw (22) was said to be hit by shrapnel on his leg.
Last October 26, the terrorist military council bombed the Lelthit East Village in Tanintharyi Township and Banpyae Village with a K8W fighter planes and MI2 helicopters simultaneously, and 3 local residents of Lelthit Village were reported to be injured.
At least 8 civilians were killed and a total of 37 civilians were injured due to the atrocious council’s airstrikes in Tanintharyi Division in 2024.
