BAGO DIVISION – On November 4th, the Southern Military Region reported that three soldiers were killed and weapons and ammunition were confiscated because revolutionary groups raided the military council and Pyu Saw Htee camp in Sinyokhin village, Kyauktaga township, Bago division.
On November 1st, the camp with a force of about 20 of the junta council and Pyu Saw Htee militias was attacked. The battle lasted for about 15 minutes and the junta council troops fled from the camp.
“The battle lasted only 15 minutes and they were injured and ran away. The camp was not properly built, they built bunkers in the beginning of village and on the sides of the village. It is not in a camp style. At the beginning, they were guarding the area, they just like the bone biting dogs,” said a soldier in the ground attack.
He said that the ground attack comrades reached the junta council and the Pyu Saw Htee camp, but the camp was not set on fire because the fire could have spread to unrelated houses in the village.
The statement said that during the battle, 3 junta council soldiers were killed, 1 G3 rifle, 174 rounds of G3 ammunition, 3 G3 cartridges, 29 rounds of nine volt bullets and other hand-made guns were seized.
It is reported that the attack was carried out by Yoma (2) column, Special Commando Battalion, 3702 Battalion of No. 2 Military Region of the southern military region and the 9th Battalion of the KNLA joint forces attack.
He added that “After the battle was over, the junta council troops which suffered in the battle attacked Sinyokhin village with heavy weapons and drones.”
It is reported that the junta council team that was collecting the census in Kyun Chung village in Kyauktaga township was hit by a mine on October 11th, and 2 policemen including the camp commander were injured.
