BAGO DIVISION – In Waw Township, administrators are pressuring that if they cannot find people to serve in the military, locals have to pay 6.3 million kyats per month to find a replacement.
It is also reported that junta-appointed administrators are preparing to quit because they have to recruit new soldiers for the terrorist army and ransack from the villagers.
The 64 village groups in the township are informed to get at least one to three people (who are forced) to serve in the military, which varies by their population ratio.
If a village cannot provide people for military service, they will have to pay 6.3 million kyats per month for each replacement. It is also informed that the junta regime announced the township administrator who collected the money needed to be paid a fine of 100,000 kyats, reported the spokesperson of Waw PDF.
