THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA -According to the organizers of the event, the movie “Cut” starring revolutionary artist Min Mawkoon premiered in the United States for the first time and earned nearly 30,000 US dollars.
Director Saw Aye Htoo presented the film and the “Cut” movie was first screened (as the beginning of the worldwide premiere) in New York City on November 9 and received 29,000 US dollars for revolutionary funding.
The movie will be shown in 2 screening times; at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the Walter W. Brige III Theater in New York, organized by
Helping Hands for Burma: H2B. Burmese food as well as movie memorabilia were auctioned during the movie premiere.
After the performance, the actors Mr. Min Mawkoon, Mr. Aung Myint Myat, Mr. Htet Myat, and Mr. Isaac met and greeted the fans online. Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Mr. Kyaw Moe Tun, and more than 300 Burmese in New York encouraged them (in person during the show). It was reported that all the funds received were directly donated to the areas needed for the revolution.
