MANDALAY DIVISION – The junta council dropped multiple bombs on Mogok Town that is under control of the TNLA on November 11 midnight, killing around three civilians and multiple houses were damaged, according to the residents.
It is said that junta planes bombed Laloo and Panchan of Mogok Township as well as the western part of Mogok Town around 11:45 p.m. on November 11.
“Four bombs were dropped over Laloo Mingalar Maggin Monastery in eastern Mogok and it is said that the whole area of Natsin was caught in the blast. Two people were reportedly killed but we don’t know their identities yet. One bomb was dropped in Panchan as well. Many houses were damaged. Then at 11:45 p.m. they bombed the area near the football stadium in western Mogok. Around three places were bombed last night (November 11) and it is said that at least three civilians were killed,” said a resident.
According to social media posts by residents of Mogok, at least ten houses were destroyed and there were also civilian casualties due to junta airstrikes.
Mogok Township in Mandalay Division was completely captured by TNLA this July 24 and the junta council bombed the township nearly four months after it has returned to operating as normal.
