SAGAING DIVISION- Six junta soldiers were killed in a land mine attack as their column came out of Tawpu Pyu Saw Hti camp, reported Chaung-U PDF ( CHU PDF) last Monday.
On November 11, around 8:00 a.m., CHU PDF attacked the terrorist army column, from Topu Pyu Saw Hti Camp with about 40 forces coming towards Nyaung Phyu Pin Police Station, with four-point mines killing six soldiers and wounding at least seven.
“It is learned that junta force re-appointment was done this morning. After the landmine attack, the rest of the dogs (junta soldiers) did not enter Nyaung Phyu but turned back. Only 6 soldiers died, as seen in the drone scout’s footage. Of course, further causalities reports are not yet known. Many soldiers were seen injured. After carrying the injured soldiers with a 12-foot truck, more were carried on 5 cars (from Swanye Htet Gas Station). There is no exchange of fire. All revolutionary comrades were unharmed. We request citizens to participate in the revolution until the end and we promised to fight it until the end,” an official from the CHU PDF unit told the media.
The injured and dead soldiers and Pyu members from the mine attack were reportedly carried back into Taw village and at around 9:45 a.m., they were transferred to the Swanye Htet gas station gate on the Monywa-Mandalay road with a white (12 feet) Canter truck and through this gate, they were reportedly transferred to Monywa town on five private cars.
