MAGWAY DIVISION – According to the local civilians, a junta sergeant out of the junta council troops who were stationed in Shwe Htee hall committed suicide in Htilin town, Yaw region, Magway division.
A local civilian mentioned that “it has been so long that the junta council troops were stationed in Shwe Htee hall. Some of the junta council troops absconded from the hall. Now, a sergeant committed suicide.”
It has been reported that a junta sergeant committed suicide by shooting himself using a gun. Besides the junta council troops, Pyu Saw Htee militants were also stationed in the hall.
On October 20, a Pyu Saw Htee militant along with his weapons entered the legal fold under the People Defense Forces. That Pyu Saw Htee militant brought two G-3 machine guns, one M-79 launcher, two G-3 cartridges and ammunition.
The fascist junta council troops were stationed in Shwe Htee hall, the township court and the township administrative office and conducted offensive attacks towards the nearby villages.
On October 26, the atrocious junta council troops raided Kyar Ke village and murdered four men (the civilians) by setting them (the civilians) on fire.
