MYANMAR – The junta council bombed Nawnghkio Township in northern Shan State on November 16 night and a civilian was killed and several were injured, reported a local military news source.
At 8:04 p.m. on November 16, a junta jet that took off from Ayelar Air Base in Nay Pyi Taw bombed Lonesan Village in Nawnghkio Township although there were no battles. It is said that a civilian was killed and around three were injured as a result.
Similarly, locals reported that three houses were damaged after a junta plane bombed a village to the west of Mobye in Pekhon Township of southern Shan State.
The attack happened around 10:30 p.m. on November 15 and although three houses were destroyed, there were no civilian casualties.
“There were no civilian casualties. Three houses were destroyed. They bombed (the village) although there was no battle,” said an official from Emergency Response Coordination Team of Pekhon Township Interim Coordination Administration Council.
The Emergency Response Coordination Team has advised the people to stay alert of the military situation as the terrorist junta council is conducting similar bombings.
In addition, the junta council also carried out four airstrikes unprovoked in Hpasaung, Karenni State on November 15 and 16, twice on each day.
Hpasaung People’s Defence Force (Battalion 1108) and Coalition Forces have surrounded the remaining junta forces in the town and blocked off any possible reinforcement. In response to the heavy losses, the terrorist junta council has been conducting airstrikes targeting towns and villages without any fighting and thus the revolutionary forces urged the people to remain vigilant.
