SHAN STATE – The atrocious junta carried out aerial bombings with its fighter jets on Bangkok IDP (Internally Displaced People) camp in Pekon Township of Shan (South) State, destroying Church building and residential houses, according to an official of 1007 Mobye PDF 2’s News and Information Department.
On November 18, at 11:30 a.m., the junta’s two fighter jets dropped a total of five bombs, one time of 500-pound bomb and two times of 200-pound bombs, on Bangkok IDP camp, near La Ei Village in Pekon Township, injuring displaced people in the camp and destroying nearby Church building and residential houses.
“People were suffering. The details are not yet known. The junta bombarded without any fight. The junta’s military aircrafts were hovering every three or four days, so I would like to urge people to be vigilant,” he said.
The Bangkok IDP camp was bombed by the terrorist junta army without a fight on September 5, killing at least 10 IDPs, including children and women.
Most of the displaced people moved to safe places due to the junta’s aerial bombardments, but there are still people who were unable to move. They are facing difficulties in purchasing basic food stuff and medicines due to the current exorbitant price increase.
