MANDALAY DIVISION: It was known that a revolutionary movement against the military dictator had been organised with the slogan “When there is a stomp of the horse’ hoof, there will be huge flame” as 78th anniversary commemoration of the death of master (Thakhin) Ba Thaung in Mandalay.
Thakhin Bahein, a students’ leader and the leader to achieve Independence, was one of the trusted colleague of General Aung San and he recited the slogan in colonial period “When there is a stomp of the horse’ hoof, there will be huge flame.” It was (78)th anniversary of his death on November 20.
It was reported that on November 20, a public revolutionary movement had been organised in front of the memorial pillar of Thakhin Bahein at the mausoleum in Mandalay, bowing Thakhin Bahein. The junta’s army is always seen stationing around the mausoleum.
The comrade Thakhin Bahein said, “It is born right to boycott if there are the enough reasons to disagree.” We adopt the spirit of Thakhin Bahein, and the speeches of Thakhin Bahein to revolt against the fascist power maniac with every single way, by not accepting what they did. Our main responsibility is to be faithful to the benefits of general public who are like the parents of the country. We need to consider for the well being of the civilians every single day. Whatever we do, they must aim for the civilians. Except the civilians we do not have anything to consider,” which were mentioned by Thakhin Bahein to whom we seriously bowed and saluted with this movement, as said by a revolutionary comrade who organised the movement against the military dictator.
