BAGO DIVISION – The military intelligence and information officer for Pyay District People’s Defence Force (PPDF) Battalion 3601 reported that Hundred-household Chief Htay Lwin who forcibly conscripted people for the terrorist junta council in Padigon Township was killed in an attack.
Around 4:30 a.m. on November 20, PPDF Battalion 3601 Company 5 and Battalion 3602 Company 4 attacked the Hundred-household Chief as well as Pyu Saw Htee leader Htay Lwin at his house in Yintitekwin Village and he reported died on the spot, shot in the head and under the armpits.
Htay Lwin had collected bribes from gambling houses and illegal bars on behalf of the junta forces stationed at Padigon Police Station, colluded with junta forces stationed in Padigon to abduct and extort civilians in Tabyayhla Village Tract, forcibly conscripted people, personally abducted people from poor household saying they were picked for conscription and collected at least 15,000 Kyats from each household in Tabyayhla Village Tract and threatened the households that did not pay with junta forces, which was why he was attacked, explained the military intelligence and information officer from PPDF Battalion 3601.
The officer added that general administration clerks, ward and village administration officers, Pyu Saw Htee militants and guides who continue to serve the junta council will be similarly attacked and urged them to quit as soon as possible.
