KACHIN STATE: Kachin Independence Army (KIA) announced at the night of November 22 that the junta’s forces and militants (Pyithusitt) are deploying the military actions at some regions in Putao, Kachin state, on the news.
KIA Information Department described that the frequent military actions of junta’s forces have been causing the fear among the local civilians in Putao, by referencing the local civilians.
The junta’s forces and militants (Pyithusitt) are known to be cooperating to station at Phetmar village and Lonegar village in Putao Township.
The concern of the local civilians about upcoming battles are being raised by the stationing of the junta’s forces and military operations in the region.
KIA Information Department announced that the local civilians are afraid of being displaced again as the junta’s forces have been stationing in the villages, using the civilians as human shields.
Putao region is situated in KIA Brigade (1) region, where there have not been any intense battles yet since the beginning of this year.
KIA was known to have been deploying step by step military actions to capture the towns and camps. Since last few months, KIA has captured Sadon, Chipwi, Tsawlaw, Pangwar, Phimaw, and Kanpaikti.
Junta’s Telegram channels spreading their propaganda are exhorting that the border guard force and Pyithusitt (militants) from Kachin Special Region (1) are not attacking real battles but only Pyithusitt (militants) from Putao region will truly attack against KIA.
