BAGO DIVISION – The Karen National Union (KNU) announced that junta heavy artillery and drone attacks injured six civilians in Leldo Township and that junta forces also abducted one civilian.
From November 20 to 26, the terrorist junta forces were reported to have conducted 18 heavy artillery attacks and 20 drone attacks targeting the villages in Leldo Township, injuring six civilians and damaging three houses, one rice mill, two clinics and two private buildings. In addition, junta forces also abducted one civilian without reason.
On November 20, junta infantry 264 based in Peinzalote fired two 120mm shells, one at Chainchaung Bridge in Yaytwinkone Village and one at Alalkyun Village, and dropped three grenades by drones in Kanyinkyoe Village and one in Kyaungkone Village while the junta forces stationed at Sintohlar Village dropped three grenades in Nanza Village using drones.
During those attacks, Ms. Khin San Win (55) from Kanyinkyoe Village was injured by shrapnel and a house was also damaged while the house of Mr. Ah Nar and a rice mill in Kyaungkone Village were also damaged.
Also on November 20, the terrorist junta forces stationed at Thahtaykone Village fired four 81mm shells at Gayotekone Village, injuring Mr. Kyaw Min Htoo (66) and the junta forces from infantry 264 abducted Ms. Zar Ni Win from Alalkyun Village at the entrance to Peinzalote.
On November 21, junta infantry 264 used drones to drop nine grenades in Kyaungkone Village and Wahchae Village and two grenades in Gayotekone Village then fired two 120mm shells into Kanyinkyoe Village. The attack injured four civilians from Kanyinkyoe Village: Mr. Wah Wun (75), Ms. Nyein Khin (73), Ms. Aye Yu (38) and Mr. Thar Yin (70), and damaged the house of Mr. Kyaw Yin. In addition the terrorist junta forces stationed at Konechaungwa also fired two 120mm shells at Tahlaingkhin Village.
On November 22, infantry 264 fired one 122mm shell at Leinpin Village and on November 23, junta forces at Nattankwin fired one 120mm shell at Nohpho Village. Similarly on November 24, junta terrorists at Kyauktagar fired two 60mm shells into Phyantalin Village and Kholo Village.
On November 26, the terrorist junta forces at Nattankwin bombed the clinic at Thukabi (Kywaltalin) Village as well as Tawkyaungpauk Village with drones and also fired one 120mm shell at the clinic and two 120mm shells at Paetaung Village, destroying two examining room at the clinic and two more buildings while the junta forces at Konechaungwa fired a 120mm shell at Tawkyaungpauk Village.
