THAILAND- The Karen National Union (KNU) announced today ( December 14) that it condemned the terrorist act of detonating the bomb at the Doi Loi Fa festival in Umphang District, Tak Province.
On the night of December 13, there was a bomb attack, and several dead and injured were reported. KNU expressed its condolences to the families of the victims the next day.
“There is absolutely no KNU member involved in this incident as reported in the news media. I completely deny it,” said KNU spokesperson Pado Saw Tony.
” KNU does not accept such violent acts and condemns those who did them, as mentioned in the statement released.
In addition, the Karen National Union (KNU) has announced to cooperate with the authorities of the Royal Thai government to reveal the truth.
