YANGON DIVISION: A responsible person of Yangon Division People’s Defense Organization (PDO) said that attack to No.(532) Light Infantry Unit in Hlaing Tharyar Township, Yangon Division with explosive mines had caused two soldiers to get wounded.
It was reported that No.(532) Light Infantry Unit of Junta’s Council near Hlaing Tharyar old bridge in Hlaing Tharyar Township was attacked with three heavy explosive mines around 8:30 p.m. on December 15. The attack caused two soldiers to get wounded but the details were unknown yet. The atrocious junta’s soldiers were known to be blocking Hlaing Tharyar Bridge to do the investigation.
A civilian residing near FMI housing in Hlaing Tharyar township said that explosion was heard at the edge of Bayint Naung bridge around 8:30 p.m. on December 15 and junta’s soldiers seen blocking and investigating nearby.
“Explosion occurred at the edge of Bayint Naung bridge. Since then, the junta’s soldiers and policemen were seen investigating passerbys, opening the checkpoint near the scene,” said by a civilian residing at FMI housing in Hlaing Tharyar township.
