NORTHERN SHAN STATE- In the areas occupied by the TNLA in Ta-ang state, northern Shan State, the TNLA officially announced the graduation ceremony of TNLA cadet officers to serve in Administration, Law Enforcement, Judiciary and Defense services.
On December 15th, PSLF/TNLA Apprentice Officer Training (Ta-ang Army Officer Training – TAOT) 4th batch graduation ceremony and 5th batch Apprentice Officer Training course opening were held somewhere in Ta-ang state. The 4th batch of the cadet course lasted for 18 months and 132 participants attended. Those who participated in the course were fought the 1027 Operation Part 2, and 12 of them gave their lives during the battle. As a result, 114 trainees were able to graduate at the graduation ceremony, and a new course was opened with 135 trainees to attend the 5th batch.
President of PSLF/TNLA, General Tar Aik Bong said that he is proud and respectful of the students of the cadet course who gave their lives on the battlefield during the operation. The current remaining officers who will serve as officers are encouraged to perform their duties to the best of their ability.
General Secretary of PSLF/TNLA Major General Tar Boon Kyaw also commented that “because the graduates of the Apprentice Academy have experienced the current military politics of Ta-Ang State first-hand, it is in the hands of the officers who have graduated from this course to make Ta-ang State’s develop and prosper. It is not only the military affairs but the administration while serving in the judiciary and other departments, to carry out the systematic improvement of their duties in any department.
The enemy was defeated from Ta-ang land, and it is time to take charge of the administrative apparatus of Ta-ang land. The Rule of law, judicial activities, defense activities must be done more than before and it is the responsibility of the people not to fall into danger, he said.
