MYANMAR – 10:27 Office Bag, a bag woven using packages of instant coffee by an imprisoned political prisoner will be auctioned and the proceeds will be used to provide food and medicine to the internally displaced people.
10:27 Office Bag is an artwork created by a political prisoner using empty instant coffee packages collected from the prisoners. The packages will be delivered to the National Unity Government and auctioned. The proceeds from the auction will be used to provide food and medicine to the internally displaced people.
“It is an artwork created by an imprisoned political prisoner. It will be delivered to the NUG and auctioned. The auction can be planned by the receiptant. It doesn’t matter who holds the auction, the proceeds will be donated for food and medicine for the displaced people. It is intended to contribute to the cause, no matter the amount,” explained a political prisoner.
The Political Prisoners Network Myanmar (PPNM) has reported that the junta council is oppressing and murdering political prisoners in prisons across the country.
